Mount'itude: Random Conversations with Sk'ridersBy: Steve Mazzucchi, 2 years 1 month ago |
Names: Joe Goldbeck and Aaron Hamby. Location: California. Riding: Gnu and Lib Tech. Q < What are the gnarliest conditions you’ve ever ridden? A < Joe: There was pretty bad ice two weekends ago at Mount Rose. It was pretty gnarly. It’s pretty steep there in the chutes, and it was icy, man. Aaron: One of the snowiest places I’ve actually been was up in Vermont at Stowe. When there was that huge storm on the East Coast like three seasons ago, it just dumped four feet all over the place, and we went up there and it was going nuts. We couldn’t see, we couldn’t even get into the crazy powder areas because we didn’t want to get lost. Guys were like, “If you haven’t been here before, don’t do this.”
